Who we are
SRM Team Robocon is the Robotics Team of SRM University, Chennai. We are involved in competitive robotics and also research and development in various aspects related to the field of robotics.
We take part in the annually organized ABU Robocon – Asia’s biggest robotics contest which aims to promote friendship among like-minded youths who will be future leaders, as well as help advance engineering technologies.
SRM Team Robocon is a multidisciplinary team comprising individuals from different branches and different years but with one thing in common – a passion for technology and innovation. The participating engineers are ingenious and equipped with a diverse skill set and the technical, practical and management knowhow required to quench their thirst for innovation.

Workflow
Idea
All the minds of the team think and work together to make an innovative bot starting from the scratch.
Design
The ideas are put together into the design of different prototypes and then the final bot using softwares like Catia,Autocad,Inventor,Solid Works e.t.c
Fabrication
The designed prototypes are fabricated with a touch of professional excellence .
Test
Fabricated prototypes and bot is tested for various parameters so as to get the technical insight.
Result
Finally after going through all the critical phases a final bot is prepared...a yearlong investment of hardwork and resources turns out into a mesmerizing bot.
